Design to Launch the First Palm™ Based, Low- Cost Mobile Office

California, February 9, 2000 - Revolve Design, a leader in
mobile computing solutions, announced today the launch of RoadWriter
and the Power UniMount dock, the first low cost mobile office
/ communications solutions for Enterprise, Trucking, Transportation,
Field Service, Military and Medical Industries. The RoadWriter
and Power UniMount are mobile solutions utilizing an integrated
Touch -Type Keyboard (fully optimized for the Palm™ Hand Held
Computer) and Serial Port connection for efficient, in-vehicle
Palm™ usage. The products offer a very cost-effective alternative
to bulky, expensive laptops or dedicated terminals while on the
road.
Revolve Design's
new RoadWriter and Power UniMount series products are available
with an innovative Rechargeable Battery / Charger system and serial
pass-through port connection. Users can enjoy close proximity
and secure placement of the Palm™ organizer in a vehicle, while
relying on continuous usage when used in conjunction with a GPS
receiver and mapping or with a modem for two-way wireless communication.
The Palm™ can quickly be installed and removed from UniMount with
the touch of a button. RoadWriter and Power UniMount will be compatible
with the PalmIII™, PalmV™, PalmVII,™ Symbol SPT1500 and TRG Pro.
