Revolve Design to Launch New UniMount II™ Universal Vehicle Docking System Supporting All Palm Handhelds with Tungsten™ W Hands-Free Speakerphone Option


New York, October 28, 2002 - Revolve Design, a leader in handheld computer mobile docking solutions, announced today the introduction of a new UniMount II Vehicle Docking System for Palm™ handhelds. Revolve Design's current UniMount line of high quality mobile office / communications solutions for Palm and other handhelds has been utilized worldwide for over five years in the Enterprise, Trucking, Transportation, Field Service/Sales, Military and Medical Industries.

UniMount II, and Revolve's accompanying RoadWriter™ attachable keyboard are mobile solutions utilizing in-vehicle handheld charging, an integrated touch-type keyboard and on-board serial ports for connectivity to GPS receivers, modems, cell phones and printers. This unique integrated modular system offers a very cost-effective alternative to bulky, expensive laptops or dedicated terminals while on the road. The UniMount II Universal Docking solutions are designed to accommodate all Palm handhelds that feature the Palm Universal Connector (Palm m125, m130, m500, m515, i705, and Tungsten series handhelds). The UniMount II system for the Palm Tungsten W handheld will come with an on-board speaker, microphone, external ear bud jack for private listening and a flip down stand for use as a stand alone tele-conference communicator on a desktop. UniMount II is designed to work with the variety of vehicle mounting accessories available now from Revolve Design, including our RoadWriter vehicle keyboard option.
